MLML Research Diving

MLML_dive_banner

Moss Landing’s diving program was started in 1965 with the opening of the labs. The MLML Diving Control Board (DCB), is responsible for all compressed gas diving at MLML, but not at the other consortium campuses.

Anyone diving under the auspices of MLML must have a MLML research diving certification. MLML auspices includes diving for classes, thesis projects, using MLML dive equipment, or diving with another MLML research diver engaged in research.

If you have current scientific diving certification at a recognized AAUS scientific diving program, reciprocity may be granted. Contact the Diving Safety Officer for details.
