• Diver's Alert Network (DAN) - Most diver's know DAN as a source of diving insurance, but DAN also offers oxygen administration classes and is an excellent source of medical information related to diving.
• National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) - Students taking the diving class at MLML recieve a NAUI certification. This site offers NAUI course information and other NAUI related goodies.
• National Oceanic and Atmospheric Organization (NOAA) - This is the U.S. government agency responsible for marine and weather affairs.

• Hyperbaric Chambers & Diving Physicians in California - listing of hyperbaric chambers and diving physiciains in California. Useful when filling out dive plan information on where to find the nearest hyperbaric chamber to your dive site.
• Western Society of Naturalists - A scientific society who's object is to 'be the stimulation of general interest in the fields of biological science. The society shall be broad enough in scope and liberal enough in its organization to meet the needs of all naturalists'. WSN has an annual meeting in November at locations along the west coast of the US. While it has a marine emphasis, the meeting is open to all biological disciplines and is a great meeting for students.
• Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary - The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary (MBNMS) is a Federally protected marine area offshore of California's central coast.
